June Aldry (Sara Johnson), is a cute, single, talented makeup artist trying to survive day to day alongside her work friend Chris Mason (Shawn Cahill) who really cares more about being a performer than the makeup guy but he's good enough of a guy to get his brother Ned (Ed Corbin) a job at Makin' It Up As I Go Studio. June even sort of gets along with her boss Wendy (Varda Appleton) when she's not asking if she's caught up on all her work even though she always is. All June really has to worry about is when she gets home to her crazy, no, overly crazy quirky roommate Harriett Grindstone (Gina DeVivo) who just has one job to do, fill up the fridge with groceries.
